Curio Coffee in Cambridge, MA

When Adam and I moved to Boston, Massachusetts from Portland, Oregon in 2008, one of the biggest things we we missed about living in the Pacific Northwest was it's coffee culture. Fast-forward eight years later, and all of that has changed.

My new favorite place for coffee is Curio Coffee in East Cambridge. My friend Jen first mentioned this place to me and she said, "you have to go!" So I did, and I'm so glad that I did. Because, W A F F L E S. and coffee!

I sort of come up with any excuse to go to Curio these days. Business meeting? Let's meet at Curio! Catching up with a friend I haven't seen in a while? Curio! Waffle craving? Curio! You get the picture :)

Curio serves Counter Culture Coffee and the owner Justin,  pulls some pretty great shots.

Okay, back to the waffles. They're made to order and delivered to your hand within minutes, served piping hot in a paper sleeve. Think streets of Brussels, Belgium. (Justin was kind enough to give me a plate for our tower of waffles for the pictures.)

Things you might overhear customers asking while enjoying a delicious cortado at Curio Coffee.  "How much would I have to pay for you to give me the waffle recipe?!" "What do you mean you're sold out of waffles?!" "I'll have another coffee, please."
